Moving Towards The Mall: Elk Grove City to Open New Promenade Parkway Traffic Lanes (Video)

The City of Elk Grove has announced today that they are ready to open their newly completed mall thoroughfare.

As work on the Grant Line Interchange and the Elk Grove Promenade mall progresses, the City of Elk Grove will be closing a portion of W. Stockton Blvd. and opening lanes on the new Promenade Parkway this Thursday.

W. Stockton Blvd. will be closed from Grant Line Road to approximately ½ mile north of Grant Line Road.

Northbound and southbound traffic on W. Stockton Blvd. will be directed to Promenade Parkway.

The Grant Line Interchange overcrossing, on-ramps, and off-ramps will still be operational and will not be impacted by the closure.

The city has also stated that they are half way completed with the Grand Line Rd. Interchange project.
