The 10th Assembly District encompasses all of Amador, part of Eldorado, San Joaquin and Sacramento counties. This office is currently being held by Alan Nakanishi who has termed out.
I am inspired by Alyson Huber. She is an amazing woman whom I trust will take the concerns of her constituents and build consensus with the other 79 members of the Assembly to provide the changes needed to enhance our lives. Alyson is the girl next door that, despite adversities, she reached her current goals. Alyson is very approachable, patient and intelligent she has a wide array of knowledge on all kinds of subjects. I see Alyson at every public event I attend. I have watched her take the time to listen and answer the questions poised to her. I believe the hardships she experienced and unfailing determination to receive her education makes Alyson sympathetic to questions and concerns of the people who walk up to her at numerous public events. Health care, inflation, lack of jobs, all seem to be on the minds of the voting public. One of the many refreshing qualities about Alyson is that she is not a career politician. Alyson is positive and upbeat. Her enthusiasm is contagious and I can’t help but want to get involved. It feels good to be inspired and I want to share a piece of Alyson with you! This is a winnable seat for Alyson. She wins, we win.
Here is a fun event I’ve become involved with for Alyson Huber. Alyson Huber’s first Annual Oktoberfest, featuring samples of Lodi’s traditional German foods. Cheese buttons, bratwurst, sauerkraut and German chocolate cake. This event will be held October 4, 2008 at the Lodi Women’s Club, 325 West Pine Street in Lodi, California. The Oktoberfest offers take out, silent auction and sponsorships. Tickets are $18.00 ea. For more information call Marcie at (209) 304-0504.

I must warn you that it won’t be quite as much fun it would be meeting her at the Oktoberfest!

Alyson Huber will not be serving in the State Assembly any times soon.
She is about to feel the political realities of the district.

Supervisor views Alyson as such a formidable candidate that he make comments about her when he doesn’t even live in her district.

I know quite a bit about this district and don’t see her pulling this one off.
