What do you do when it is over?

This afternoon someone asked me what the re-election chances were for Heather Fargo.  I had to think about it for a while.

After looking at the results from the primary I would have to say her chances are slim to none.

Mayor Fargo got 39% of the vote.  Her main challenger, Kevin Johnson go 46% of the vote.  The general rule is that an incumbent gets less than half of the votes that went to the candidates that do not go into the run off.  In this case I would say that the people voting for Padilla and others were voting against the current state of affairs in City Hall.

Fargo is in big trouble and will need to really do something different to get another four years as Mayor.
