...BREAKING NEWS ON THE CAPITAL ELECTOR...Mayor Fargo gives the Capital Elector an exclusive interview this afternoon...tell us that she was blindsided by the police Chief’s drastic budget cut memo released today...The Chief Dropped it on everyone at the city in surprising fashion yet had time to feed the story to the sacbee for their report...The Mayor believes that the bee story As posted Earlier today was incomplete...She is Enraged by the very idea that ‘after-hours’ response would even be considered in budget cut talks..."I think that He (Chief Rick Braziel) should be taking a 10% paycut”..she also officially announced to the Elector that she will be taking the same 10% cut and will suggest that all charter officers and the department heads follow her lead.
